Deep in the Golmore Jungle many years ago, a pale, unnamed Feol kit ran about Eruyt Village.Born to a Viera mother and an unknown Father they were often excluded from village happenings and played alone. They struggled to make friends among the "better" pure-blooded Viera. The kit instead formed an unexplainable bond with the residual Mist of the jungle. The cool purples and warm orange clouds of Mist lazily drifted around them, like a comforting paternal hug.At 18 the Feol had fully matured, though lacking in the height department. They grabbed their prepacked satchel and slipped out under the moonlight leaving not a trace, they wouldn't be missed. Traveling across Ivalice selling hunted pelts for spare Gil wasnt easy. But after a few tireless nights they reached Balfonhiem port where they departed for Eorzea.The boat ride to Eorzea left him plenty of time to revisit his frantic travels. From raiders to an odd band of "heroes", so much had happened in such a short time.The biggest is his new companion...If he can call them that. Zalera has made a home of Arins body, feeding off his unnaturally high reserves of Mist (aether for you Eorzeans), promising to keep the young boy safe. All because he cared enough to save some bystanders on his travels. All because he was too kind to ignore their screams, he now has a pact with Death itself.The weeks after he finally touched land, he travelled north to Ceourthus where he met an injured Calsypher. The two travelled together as Cal had decided he wanted to stay and protect the "young lad" through the highlands and even floating islands. Eventually they took a boat to the city of Kugane where they encountered Ash and soon the Scions of the seventh dawn. His time on The First and everything after however is a blur.
